HBO is in MN to shoot Pilot Episode

HBO is in MN to shoot a pilot episode for an upcoming series called Mogadishu, Minnesota. Toronto/Somalian poet & rapper K'naan has written the script and will direct.

Executive producer, Kathryn Bigelow is to be one of the executive producers. Local 490 has been contacted to provide union crew for the project. It plans to begin shooting in October 2016.
