HBO & Local 490 wrap shooting on pilot.

On October 28th, 2016, HBO & Local 490 wrapped shooting on the pilot episode of "Mogadishu, MN". Local 490 wants to thank HBO for coming to MN and giving the state a shot at a series on the Somali community in MN. Local 490 was proud to have many of the key crew positions come from its ranks; Gaffer, Set Decorator, Propmaster, Lead Man, Locations and Wardrobe Supervisor were all local hires. Almost all of the crew beneath those keys were from 490. It is a testament of our union that HBO felt we had a strong enough roster to make that happen.
